    Memories and Tributes

  • He was a good ship-mate and a Good Man. We served together in the squadron VFP-62 and aboard the USS Enterprise World Cruise 1964. I was lucky enough to re-unite with Rod a few years back in Jacksonville. . . Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

If The Lord thinks that I am as good a person as my two old adopted dogs think that I am, then maybe Rod and I will re-unite again in Heaven; I know Rod is already there.

    Sincerely,
    Robert R. King
