Sioux Falls - Leslie M. Holst, 63, of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away at the O/E Campground in rural Platte, SD on Saturday, September 29, 2007, after a short bout with cancer.

Les was born on December 15, 1943 in Fremont, NE. He graduated from St. Patrick's Catholic High School in Fremont, NE. Leslie served his country in The U.S. Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis and was honorably discharged in 1966.

Leslie met and married Deanna F. Wedergren on February 6, 1971, in Dakota City, NE. Leslie worked for many years at Jay's Body Shop in Sioux Falls, SD before retiring in 2005. Leslie was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family and friends.
