James M. Rettenmeyer

AGE: 73 Roxbury Twp.
Mr. James M Rettenmeyer, 73, died on June 17, 2011 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. He was born and raised in Pittston, PA and moved to Succasunna in 1967. He served in the U S Navy from 1959-1963 aboard the USS Intrepid and Saratoga as an aircraft electrician. He then worked for the Allied Signal Corporation in Morristown as a distribution director for 30 years, retiring in 1997. He was also a member of St. Therese R C Church in Succasunna.

He is survived by his wife Judy (Connors) of 47 years, son Mark (and his wife Lisa) Rettenmeyer of Buford, GA and daughter Tracy (and her husband Stephen) Shatzel of Lake Hopatcong. He also leaves his 4 grandchildren; Ryan, Kaitlyn, Kaylee, and Abigail, sister Anne Hartley of Wilkes-Barre, PA, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his 2 brothers; Frank and Michael, and granddaughter Emily.
